Day 2

Mljet Island National park

Start the day with a full breakfast on our villa’s balcony, overlooking Lumbarda’s stunning bay and the sparkling Adriatic Sea. Your captain will then escort you down to our private jetty, provide a short safety briefing and tour of the motor yacht, before introducing you to our destination for the day: Mljet island and its stunning national park reserve.

Labelled “one of the most seductive of all the Adriatic islands”, Mljet is a true gem and certainly not one to be missed on any Croatian getaway. Over two-thirds of the island is covered by dense forest, with a good portion of this designated a national park. Here you’ll discover aromatic pine forests, fascinating flora and deep blue saltwater lakes that captivate the senses. The rest of the landscape is dotted with luscious vegetation, fields, vineyards and traditional villages. The island also possesses a stunning coastline, with several beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.

Upon boarding our motor yacht in Korcula, it’s a speedy 30-minute transfer to Mljet island. Our vessel has an intimate capacity for only 18 guests, ensuring you’ll receive attentive service and plenty of space to relax and unwind on board. This is what places us a cut above other commercial trips to Mljet: you can expect to receive a truly exclusive experience carefully tailored to your every need.

During the day you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in everything that makes this island so special. Hike on trails around the spectacular lakes in the acclaimed national park. Swim in crystal clear waters, admire the marine life and unwind on sandy shores. We’ll also organise a snorkelling excursion, allowing you to witness more fantastic sea life up close and to admire the island’s coastline from a unique perspective. What’s more, they’ll be a delicious full course Dalmatian lunch to look forward to back on the yacht.

Lastovo Island- Park of Nature Preserved

Today we embark on a fabulous trip to the stunning Lastovo island, home to a prestigious WWF-listed nature park, along with a breath-taking coastline and quaint historic town.

Lastovo is a small speck of emerald green situated amidst the vast open seas of the shimmering Adriatic. As one of Croatia’s most isolated islands, it makes the perfect escape for those seeking to immerse themselves in nature and discover a landscape virtually untouched.

The day will encompass plenty of opportunities to sample the pristine nature and beautiful traditional architecture, along with adventure activities and a plethora of fresh food and quality wine, all sourced directly from the local farms, vineyards and crystal clear seas.

You’ll enjoy a 40-minute cruise to this island paradise aboard our powerful motor yacht. Once on Lastovo, we’ll spend the day hiking, swimming, snorkelling and exploring the mesmerising landscape. You’ll also learn more about the island’s history through a guided tour of Lastovo village and a visit to the ex-Yugoslav military submarine tunnel. We’ll serve a gourmet three-course Dalmatian lunch aboard the yacht, along with a plentiful supply of local wines.

Upon returning to Korcula, spend time relaxing at the villa before being treated to a delicious seafood feast at a famous local restaurant in Lumbarda village. The perfect finish to this memorable day!

Day 4

Dubrovnik- Pearl of Adriatic

There is no better feeling than waking up in your villa, enjoying a leisurely breakfast and knowing that today we cruise towards the UNESCO World Heritage site and a spectacularly beautiful city of Dubrovnik, known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”.

This popular excursion is perfect for those guests seeking privacy, exceptional comfort and personalised service as part of their Dubrovnik experience. The transfer from Korcula involves a leisurely 90-minute ride aboard our spacious motor yacht. This is a significantly shorter transfer compared to most other commercial excursions covering this route. Ultimately, our speedy transfer means avoiding the hassles of road and people traffic and more quality time to immerse yourself in the destination.

Once in Dubrovnik, you’ll spend the day learning about the city’s fascinating history, admiring the gleaming orange rooftops from the ancient walls and touring the major architectural attractions, all in the capable hands of an expert guide.

But the excitement doesn’t end upon leaving Dubrovnik! On the return journey, we make a stop near Lokrum island where your Captain will serve a mouth-watering four course lunch whilst anchored in a peaceful bay. They’ll also be plenty of time to swim and relax before the exhilarating ride back to Korcula island. For the evening’s entertainment, we provide a transfer into Korcula Old town to witness the spectacular Moreska traditional sword dance ceremony (tickets included).

Day 5

Vis and Bisevo Islet  Blue Cave grotto

Today we explore the alluring island of Vis, with its beautiful caves, beaches and countless other natural treasures. We’ll embark on a tour around three of the most impressive caves, visit the well-hidden Stiniva cove, and discover the historic charms and rich culture of Komiza town.

Green cave: This cave is spacious (varying in depth from 3 to 5 metres) and is famous for the small cracks in the ceiling, which allow beams of light to come pouring in, illuminating the water and walls in spectacular fashion.

Stiniva cove: Located on the south side of the island, this cove is characterised by a very narrow entrance, which eventually widens to reveal a stunning 30-metre wide pebble beach, flanked by perpendicular rocks towering up to 35 metres high. The cove is only accessible by sea, ensuring it remains beautifully unspoilt and free from crowds.

Bisevo’s blue cave: This portion of the Croatian coast is filled with magnificent caves, the most famous of which is the blue cave located in Baluni cove. Accessible only by small rowboat, the unique lighting effects in the cave cast shimmering blue and silver reflections all around, enchanting visitors from every angle.

We’ll return to Korcula by late afternoon, and the evening is free to spend as you wish.

A private guide will escort you around the main sights, including the ornate town square, Cathedral, gothic palaces and medieval fortress. Then spend time people watching and absorbing the lively atmosphere over coffee and ice-cream at a bustling café.

Hvar island is also renowned for its tantalising natural beauty, encompassing sweeping vineyards, rugged mountains and picture-perfect beaches nestled in hidden coves. We’ll head to the particularly stunning Pakleni islands, consisting of over 20 small islands surrounded by turquoise waters and boasting luscious woodland, sandy beaches and deserted lagoons. This is a snorkeler’s paradise, and they’ll be plenty of time to dive into the warm waters, unwind on the sun soaked shore, and enjoy a hearty Mediterranean lunch before heading back to Korcula.

VIP honeymoon at Villa Sokol/Korčula Adventures After a long search for an ideal water experience without having to go on a mega cruise ship we found Villa Sokol/Korčula Adventures for spending our one week honeymoon. The communication with captain/owner Zoran was very smooth and we booked the honeymoon/comfort apartment package. Upon arrival at Dubrovnik airport, Zoran was waiting for us and drove us to Lumbarda in his luxurious Mercedes Viano V6 CDI. Thus we avoided figuring out transport and having to drag luggage from here to there. After a good night's sleep in the very comfortable apartment located in an amazingly quiet environment, Blazenka, Zoran's wife served a delicious breakfast on the terrace. During the week we were treated like VIPs. Guided tours on Korčula island including wine tasting, excursions to the islands of Mljet, Hvar, Dubrovnik and Lastovo with Zoran's powerful and luxurious yacht. During the visits we were escorted by the very knowledgeable guide, also called Zoran but named Mr. Z to avoid confusion. For the visit to the island of Badija we were taken in the brand new 200 hp rib boat navigated by the also very capable captain Lukša and guide Ivan. Outstandingly fresh Croatian lunches were served on the yacht or in the apartment. Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Immense thanks to Zoran, Blazenka, Mr. Z, Lukša and Ivan for an unforgettable honeymoon. M & A from Belgium

5 star ratingIncredible Honeymoon - Trip of a Lifetime We booked Korcula Adventures for our Honeymoon - we were a little hesitant at first as it seemed quite cheap for what we were getting. We needn't have worried. Even before we arrived, Captain Zoran was making us feel welcomed, he answered emails quickly and made sure he had all the details about our flights, and arranged transfers for us.When we arrived, the accommodation was clean, we were shown around and had some wine and fizz awaiting us in the fridge in the apartment. We were cooked an incredible lunch, one of the best meals we had during our stay (and we ate in some really great restaurants, too), complete with some fabulous local wine. The service we received from Zoran and his staff was wonderful - they are so attentive, making sure you have everything you could possibly need. We were given information about the local area, recommendations on local restaurants, about how to get around the island (there was a car and bikes we could use at any time) and best places to swim/walk/cycle. The excursions themselves were wonderful; we visited several different islands, and got a chance not only to explore, but to learn about the history of the places we visited. Ivan, our tour guide and Captain on several trips, was fantastic. His knowledge was incredible, and it made the overall experience even more wonderful. As part of each trip, we arrived, disembarked the yacht/rib and went on our tour. After a few hours, we had a lovely lunch aboard the boat, followed by snorkeling (all equipment provided) in a sheltered area. The sea in Croatia is so crystal clear and clean, the visibility is incredible. There's so much to see when you snorkel - urchins, octopus, lots of different varieties of fish, and the water is lovely and warm. We also went on the buggy tour around the Lombarda area of the island, which was a lot of fun. We saw the countryside, and stopped off Bire vine yard, to sample their wines and also learn a lot about the grape varieties, technology and history of the area. We then drove to the beach and spent some time swimming and snorkeling. If you didn't fancy a swim, there was a bar and cafe where you could enjoy the breathtaking view of the bay.My husband and I really cannot imagine how our honeymoon could have been better.Thank you, Captain Zoran and all your wonderful team - we really did have the most amazing honeymoon ever - it was a trip of a lifetime!
