Stiniva Cove: Located on the south side of the island, this cove is characterized by a very narrow entrance, which eventually widens to reveal a stunning 30-metre wide pebble beach, flanked by perpendicular rocks towering up to 35 meters high. The cove is only accessible by sea, ensuring it remains beautifully unspoiled and free from crowds.

Our stay at the Captains villa was outstanding because each family had an apartment that ensured privacy but still kept the entire family together to interact in the morning for breakfast and each evening to download pictures and discuss the day's adventure. All rooms were air conditioned , had wifi, tv's ( which never got turned on!!) , full kitchens and all the amenities required but most of all , they passed the discriminating critique of the ladies in charge, our wives!.
Breakfasts were a hit, especially the palicinke ( crepes) and of course eggs, yogurts and fruits daily.
Because we were staying at the Captains villla, we merely rolled out of bed and walked to the breakfast area outdoors , we did not have to be d taxied from another location and we walked to the boat dock a mere 100 meters away where two beautiful cabin cruisers awaited our arrival for the new days adventure.
Also at our disposal were kayaks which we used for early morning excursions in teh bay and bicylces to ride at our leisure.
Meeting other guests who where staying at other properties was an added bonus as some were repeat customers and from many countries including Tasmania, Australia , Ireland , England , Germany while we were the only Americans .
Each day was a yacht trip out to a different location with Captain Zoran being assisted by his first mates who were college educated history or geography majors and provided excellent tours of our daily destinations then helped serve delicious Mediterranean lunches on the yacht followed by a daily Adriatic swim , snorkeling and paddle boarding .
A dune buggy ride through the country side with a winery stop was enjoyed by all as well.
Our departing dinner at the villa was a feast of lobster, cevapcici, octopus with vegetables and all the trimmings.
Dinner other nights was on our own with excellent recommendations and transportation all included. Trips to the towns of Lumbarda and Korcula are a definite must see and enjoy with show that is a local custom of two kings Moreska sword dance battling over a fair maiden in Korcula !
In closing our itinerary was outstanding! With help designing it from Zoran, we were able to make this truly an unforgettable trip and compliments of Zoran , we even had a tour of Split on the way to Zagreb because we had an early ferry departure from Korcula,
I did not mention all of our stops as yours may be different, but I cannot emphasize enough the attention to detail they paid , even Blaza washing our clothes so we would be packing clean clothes.
Thanks to the entire team for making this a very special family vacation!
